Artist Statement

Since I was a kid I was fascinated with imagery and stories. I was the strange kid who would sit in a room, close his eyes and listen to the stories those walls would tell in my mind. I could hear voices from the past and even visuals move like a movie playing in my head. From then on I wanted to create incredible images, inspired by the stories of the forgotten. I find beauty in things most people see as trash and I try to use that in my work. I want to archive a period of time inside my work. I also want to touch on things that may be a little uncomfortable to most people. Whether you agree with me or not, like my work or not, my job is to invoke a conversation and show you a potential other side to the story you may have not considered otherwise.

Our Collections

Masks

Masks is a unique collection where we take beautifully designed masks and incorporate them into photography that tells a story. This collection is both gothic and steampunk with a variety of other feels. The masks come from EPCOT and this collection resides at the shop. This is a fun collection for us and one we get to be extremely creative with.

Morbid Sensations

Morbid sensations takes you on a journey farther than the series “Dreams, Nightmares, Fears and Fantasy” did in terms of “spookiness”.  This series is designed to touch on things that go bump in the night, those uneasy feelings you get from the unknown, and to bring the beauty and artistry of urban decay and horror to life.

Reimagined

A few months ago I was going through my hard drive and looking at all the photos I had shot.  It brought back some great memories for me.  I noticed as I looked at them I started to think… maybe I can do something with this.  Sometimes I asked “why didn’t I ever use this photo?”.  And that is when “Reimagined” series became a reality.

Our Beautiful World

At IAS, we believe the diversity and uniqueness of the world is what makes us beautiful. That includes our religious beliefs, our style of dress, our speech, our food, our customs and the color of our skin. This series is designed to portray all 192 countries around the world with models that are descendants from those countries. We want to show the beauty each country brings and teach our viewers about that particular country in the process. We hope showing the diversity and how beautiful it is, it will help tackle the stigma of racism across the globe.

A Walk Through Time

Ever since I can remember I’ve been fascinated with vintage photography and advertising. It’s TIMELESS! The creativity and beauty define that generation. My love for vintage style photography inspired me to try my own. This is a walk through time where we capture the era of 1850s to 1950
