Imagine-Nation Art Studio announced Wednesday afternoon that the studio has commissioned a new TV series titled “Reading Adventures” for children between the ages of 4 to 10.
Reading Adventures primary goal is to expose children to the wonders hidden inside the covers of a book. It’s amazing what you can learn or where you can go simply by picking up a book and letting your imagination soar.
The series will feature books that cover so many topics and adventures. After the book is done, the host will talk or discuss the topic with children or go on site to talk with an expert on the topic the book covered.
Jason Dowd, the CEO and primary imaginator at Imagine-Nation Art Studios hopes that the series will make books fun again for children; hopefully persuading them to put down the phone or tablet for an hour a day and pick up a book.
[block_quote] Growing up I had the privilege of watching a show called “Reading Rainbow” which made reading fun. I remember watching it on PBS after a long day of school. I enjoyed the stories, the illustrations, and how you could just drift deep inside your imagination. I want to give the next generation that same satisfaction with “Reading Adventures” [/block_quote]
The studio is currently seeking out auditions for a host and working to establish a theme song for the show.
Once the show is produced the team hopes that it will be something schools will include inside their media teaching tools.
The series will air on their YouTube channel and on the IAS Network exclusive to Roku. A projected air date for Season 1 has yet to be established but the studio is shooting for March 2017.
